  Chapter Ten

The evil magician, with his bag of tricks, looked down upon Lisa and pulled out another blade. This one was more of an elaborate blade, the one love he felt a bond towards. This blade, with its circular handle, had caused a path of destruction like no one else had. The Ted Bundy’s, the Jack the Ripper’s, and the world’s most notorious serial killers had nothing on him, and the blade. He sat down yoga style next to the dying soul. The fear in her eyes was now certainly significant. It was time to lay her to her final resting place. As he sat next to her, he was very proud of his soon to be victim. She hung in there, knowing she was going to face evil dead in the eyes. These thoughts were captivating his mind and he suddenly had gotten chills up and down his spine. The local and national news were going to be covering this like the vultures they are, and he would sit back and enjoy every single moment. Every hour. Every minute and every second of the coverage.

He remembered the eight ball girl calling him Mr. Beautiful. That had a very nice ring to it. Lisa was actually kind of clever in coming up with that. In that moment, he decided he really liked being called that. So, he stood up to hover the soon to be corpse and told Lisa to call him that. “Call me Mr. Beautiful.”

With barely a sigh, through the blood spewing out of her body, she replied with a weak almost faint set of words:

“Whaaat?” She was barely coherent at this point.

He leaned down and told her one more time, this time growing incredibly irritated. “Tell me what I want to hear or you will suffer immense consequences.”

“I don’t understand”, replied the eight ball girl.

That’s it, he thought. It is time to finish his handy work. He carefully place the blade of his cherished weapon and started to insert it into her stomach and he then proceeded to thrust it at an upward angle, knowing all well this was the perfect cut. The cut of all cuts. He slowly pulled the blade up and he instantly felt tremendous satisfaction. The eight ball girl, so nice and innocent slowly let two gasps of air before succumbing to permanent sleep. Mr. Beautiful said out loud, “now this is where the fun starts”.

As he listened to Lisa take her final breath, he walked back to his truck. As he opened the passenger door, he lifted the seat and grabbed the other bag of tricks he had. He took this bag of evil and started to spread it out next to the body. He laid out the spread into separate pieces, a total of nine altogether. It was then he could really start to have some fun. He approached the lifeless body and knelt down. He reached into his bag and brought out the love of his life. The blade. As he started to disassemble the eight ball girl into what he referred to as works of art, he gently laid the first piece of her onto the first piece of the spread. This piece would be the shocker. He had dear plans for this one. The first piece is intended to shock the world. Shock the world of the closest friends of the eight ball girl. Yes, indeed, he had plans for this one. He would hand deliver this one, literally, to her closest friend.

He met this friend while on a business trip in south Florida. She was some sort of art decorator or art dealer or something. He really didn’t pay any attention to this meaningless soul until this girl said something to him that he would remember. She kept talking and talking about going back to her home town and visiting her friends. The name of the place she kept referring to. He had been there before. The name of the place was Griff’s. Now that he had been there in person, he was very familiar with the town and the names of her friends. He couldn’t remember the art girl’s name, for the life of him. Then, all of a sudden it came out of nowhere. Julie. That was it! Her name was Julie.
